Working Group

Working Group on Women, Youth, Peace and Security

To accelerate the momentum to promote gender equality and women's empowerment in the Great Lakes Region, ISOKO coordinates and supports the working group, and provides technical support to members and other organizations implementing or considering programs that engage men and women as partners in promoting peace and gender equality.  The working group is committed to advancing the Women, Peace, and Security and Youth, Peace, and Security Agendas through the localization and monitoring of UNSCR 1325 and UNSCR 2250, and seeks to hold key actors accountable for its implementation.
