Christian is a human rights activist and peacebuilder and co-founder of ISOKO. Christian holds 17 years’ experience in program management, monitoring and evaluation in the fields of peacebuilding, security, conflict prevention, and women and children’s rights. He has consulted with various multi-lateral, governmental and non-governmental organizations, including GIZ, NIMD, IDASA, CARE International, UN-Habitat, Karuna Center for Peacebuilding, and the Ministry of Human Rights, and also served as a Steering Committee Member on the UNSCR 1325 and National Policy on Gender in Burundi. Research and Advocacy Program Officer
Seconde is a human rights defender and peacebuilder, and co-founder of ISOKO.  Seconde started her career as trainer and coordinator of women's programming at Search for Common Ground.  In 2006, she co-founded Fontaine-ISOKO in Burundi and served as its chairperson.  There, she designed and directed many policy and peacebuidling initiatives, and coordinated its Women, Peace and Security Program.  She is the Deputy Chairperson and Representative for Central Africa for African Women Active Nonviolence Initiatives for Social Change (AWANICh), and has participated in numerous regional and global...
