Kelly is a human rights activist and attorney and has been working with ISOKO since 2016.  Kelly began her career as a healtchare provider, delivering care to underserved populations across the US.  She eventually moved into the legal field where she continued to work with vulnerable populations in the areas of housing and civil rights, and worked in court and judicial research and administration, as well as access to justice.  Kelly then shifted into gender equality and peacebuilding, and eventually co-founded a Burundian/US peacebuilding and gender justice organization, and served as its Law & Policy Director.  More recently, she provided advocacy and support to international human rights defenders.  Kelly's research and advocacy interests include improving women's access to justice and health services, and developing innovative multi-sector partnerships and approaches to promote gender equality.  Kelly holds degrees in physical therapy, economics and law and resides in the US.  You can reach Kelly at kjones@isokopartners.org.
