Larissa holds a BA from the University of Chicago, where she majored in Psychology. In Chicago, she worked at different community-based organizations and research labs focused on academic achievement, health-based outcomes, and community development. Larissa is currently working as a Research Assistant studying the health and wellbeing of caregivers, primarily women, caring for service members with a traumatic brain injury and/or PTSD. She is also a volunteer for the Rape and Incest National Network (RAINN). Next year, Larissa hopes to apply for a Master's in Social Work. At ISOKO, Larissa is excited to leverage her existing experience to support organizations that are tackling issues related to gendered violence and offering resources and services to women and communities affected by these issues. Larissa resides in Washington, DC.
